IFACS, International Fine Arts Conservation Studios, is a company based out of Atlanta, GA that travels through different parts of the country and focuses on restoration and conservation of historic buildings. I was first introduced to IFACS in 2015 when I did my second internship with them at Ponce de Leon in St. Augustine, Fl. Since then, I have joined the IFACS team at El Jardin in Mimi, Fl., Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Athens, Ga., Reynolds Mansion on Sapelo Island, GA., and Ca' d'Zan in Sarasota, Fl. We work on many different projects doing anything from stripping and glazing windows to terra cotta repair.
I am going to spend some time on the road working with IFACS to use my skills and to gain knowledge of these historic buildings!
